As a Junior Consultant – General Surgery, you will play a pivotal role in patient care.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and diagnose general surgical conditions.
- Conduct outpatient consultations and assess patients requiring surgical intervention.
- Assist in and perform general surgical procedures according to clinical privileges.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
- Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery.
- Manage surgical emergencies and coordinate timely treatment.
- Work with anaesthesia, nursing and other clinical teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, operative notes and discharge summaries.
- Follow surgical safety protocols, infection control standards and hospital procedures.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Qualification: MS/DNB in General Surgery
- Work Experience: 1 to 5 Years.
- 'As per NMC Norms' regarding specific experience.
