Join Our Team at Anil Neuro And Trauma Centre:
As a Neurosurgeon, you will manage neurosurgical emergencies including head injuries, spinal trauma, and polytrauma as part of a 24/7 trauma service.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Perform elective cranial and spinal surgeries for conditions including tumours, degenerative spine issues, hydrocephalus, and vascular cases.
- Provide comprehensive inpatient, ICU, and outpatient care, including daily rounds and follow-up clinics.
- Collaborate closely with neurology, anaesthesia, and critical care teams on joint cases, focusing on interventions like decompressive craniectomy and haemorrhage evacuation.
- Conduct endoscopic spine procedures with microscope neuro navigation support.
- Participate in the on-call roster for emergency and trauma cases.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation along with consent and insurance/TPA records.
- Engage in audits and quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the training of junior doctors and nursing staff.
- Help in the development of new services as the hospital expands.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Relevant postgraduate medical degree in Neurosurgery.
- Proven experience in the field, specific duties include the management of emergency neurosurgical situations.
