About the Role: Join our dedicated team as a CTVS ICU Staff Nurse at SP Medifort Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery (CTVS) ICU.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythm, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and neurological status.
- Manage patients before and after cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and injections as prescribed.
- Monitor ventilated and critically ill patients and assist with ventilator management.
- Monitor drains, catheters, central lines, and other invasive devices.
- Assist doctors during emergency procedures and critical interventions.
- Observe for post-operative complications such as bleeding, infection, arrhythmia, and hemodynamic instability.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- A BSc Nursing degree.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the ICU setting.
