About the Role: Join SP Medifort Hospital as an Infection Control Nurse where you will play a vital role in enhancing patient safety.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Implement and monitor infection prevention and control (IPC) practices across the hospital.
- Conduct regular infection control rounds and identify potential infection risks.
- Monitor hand hygiene, PPE usage, sterilization, and disinfection practices.
- Monitor healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and maintain infection surveillance records.
- Collect, analyze, and report infection-related data and trends.
- Conduct infection control training and awareness programs for nursing and hospital staff.
- Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal practices.
- Coordinate with microbiology, nursing, housekeeping, and clinical departments.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- A BSc in Nursing with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
