About the Role:
Join our team as a Female Staff Nurse, responsible for providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare and manage the labour room for deliveries.
- Assess women presenting with labour pain and promptly inform the gynaecologist.
- Monitor labour progress, contractions, maternal vital signs, and fetal heart rate.
- Assist the gynaecologist during normal vaginal deliveries and obstetric procedures.
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal nursing care, while recognising warning signs in obstetric emergencies.
- Maintain strict infection-control, sterilisation, and patient-safety standards.
- Educate mothers regarding breastfeeding, hygiene, nutrition, postnatal care, and danger signs.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- Training in Basic Life Support and newborn resuscitation.
- Good communication, documentation, and patient-handling skills.
