About the Role: Join our dedicated team as a Staff Nurse specializing in maternal care, where your contributions are vital for creating exceptional patient experiences.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare and manage the labour room for deliveries.
- Assess women presenting with labour pain and inform the gynaecologist.
- Monitor labour progress, maternal vital signs, and fetal heart rate.
- Assist during normal vaginal deliveries and obstetric procedures.
- Conduct antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal nursing care, recognizing warning signs and assisting in emergencies.
- Administer prescribed medicines, injections, and IV fluids while maintaining infection-control standards.
- Educate mothers on breastfeeding, hygiene, and postnatal care.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- Training in Basic Life Support and newborn resuscitation.
- Knowledge of CTG/fetal monitoring.
- Experience managing labour-room emergencies.
- Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.
- A calm and compassionate approach to maternity care.
