About the Role:
Join our team as a Consultant in Medicine to provide exceptional care in a busy hospital environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with medical and acute clinical conditions.
- Manage OPD and IPD patients and provide timely clinical evaluation and follow-up.
- Handle medical emergencies and critically ill patients in coordination with the Emergency and Critical Care teams.
- Evaluate and manage common chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, infections, respiratory disorders, and other internal medicine cases.
- Conduct clinical rounds, review investigations, modify treatment plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Coordinate with specialists and other departments for multidisciplinary patient management and referrals.
- Ensure appropriate use and interpretation of laboratory, radiological, and other diagnostic investigations.
- Participate in clinical discussions, patient counselling, and treatment planning with patients and attendants.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and ethical medical practice.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- MD Medicine / DNB Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Relevant experience as a Consultant/Specialist in General Medicine preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to manage both OPD and IPD responsibilities and participate in emergency/clinical duties.
