Your Core Responsibilities:
- Provide medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients from neonates to adolescents.
- Perform well-child examinations, immunizations, growth and developmental surveillance, and anticipatory guidance.
- Manage acute illnesses and common pediatric emergencies; stabilize and refer complex cases as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for chronic conditions.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis; obtain informed consent.
- Coordinate care with nurses, specialists, therapists, and allied health professionals; participate in case conferences.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record and complete required administrative tasks.
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance, teaching of trainees, and community health initiatives.
- Adhere to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, infection control, and safeguarding protocols.
