About the Role:
Join Pacific OneHealth as an Infection Control Nurse and play a vital role in healthcare.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control (IPC) policies and protocols.
- Conduct surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and prepare infection control reports.
- Monitor compliance with hand hygiene, sterilization, disinfection, and isolation practices.
- Educate and train healthcare staff on infection prevention and control measures.
- Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, microbiologists, and hospital departments to reduce infection risks.
- Maintain accurate infection surveillance records, documentation, and reports.
