About the Role:
Join us as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at The Hope Hospital, where you'll have a direct impact on patient care and outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct daily OPD consultations.
- Perform Phaco and SICS cataract surgeries independently.
- Manage emergency ophthalmic cases.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and documentation.
- Participate in outreach camps and community eye screening programs.
- Train and support junior doctors and OT staff when required.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- MS/DNB Ophthalmology (or equivalent recognized qualification).
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration.
- Independent experience in Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery.
- Proficiency in Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS) and comprehensive ophthalmic OPD.
- Strong skills in diagnosis and management of common eye diseases, and post-operative care.
- A minimum of 2–3 years of independent Phaco surgery experience.
