About the Role:
Join our dedicated team as a Consultant Opthalmologist, where you'll play a crucial role in providing top-notch eye care and treatment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with eye disorders.
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations using ophthalmic equipment.
- Prescribe medications, spectacles, and treatment plans.
- Execute ophthalmic surgeries as per specialization and hospital privileges.
- Manage outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and follow-up patients.
- Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Participate in OT schedules, ward rounds, and emergency duties.
- Ensure adherence to NABH guidelines, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Coordinate with optometrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Engage in CMEs, academic activities, and clinical audits.
