What You'll Be Doing:
- Taking patients' histories and using specialized equipment to determine the extent of a fraction or injury.
- Performing blood tests to check for degenerative bone conditions.
- Strengthening affected areas through exercises, ultrasounds, and strength training.
- Surgically repairing bones, nerves, ligaments, tendons, and joints to encourage healing.
- Treating acute and chronic injuries and pain.
- Prescribing medications for recovery.
- Monitoring patient healing processes and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Arranging rehabilitation plans post-surgeries.
- Supervising nurses and medical staff, and referring patients to other specialists as needed.
- Enhancing abilities through medical conferences and courses.
