About the Role: Join Amrita School of Medicine as a Sr. Consultant/Consultant in Hepatology, where you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with liver diseases.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic liver diseases.
- Manage liver transplant patients through pre- and post-transplant care.
- Perform and interpret hepatology procedures such as liver biopsy and fibroscan.
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient hepatology consultations.
- Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and specialists for comprehensive patient care.
- Counsel patients and families on treatment plans and prognoses.
- Engage in clinical audits, research, and academic activities, while maintaining accurate medical records.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- A DM in Hepatology.
- 0 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, coordination, and management skills.
