About the Role: As a Consultant Oculoplasty at Purvanchal Netralaya & Retina Care Center, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and managing disorders related to eyelids, orbit, lacrimal system, and facial structures.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Evaluate and treat squint (strabismus) in children and adults, including surgical and non-surgical options.
- Conduct pediatric eye examinations and manage refractive errors, amblyopia, and congenital eye disorders.
- Perform specialized surgeries including ptosis correction, DCR, and squint surgeries.
- Interpret advanced diagnostics (OCT, B-scan, pediatric vision tests).
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, counselling, and follow-up management.
- Work closely with optometrists and orthoptists for pediatric assessments.
- Maintain complete clinical documentation as per NABH standards.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and preventive eye care.
