About the Role:
Join our dynamic team as a Consultant Oculoplasty, where your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing patient care.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage disorders related to eyelids, orbit, lacrimal system, and facial structures (oculoplasty).
- Evaluate and treat squint (strabismus) in children and adults, including surgical and non-surgical options.
- Conduct pediatric eye examinations and manage refractive errors, amblyopia, congenital eye disorders, and other pediatric ocular diseases.
- Perform specialized surgeries including ptosis correction, DCR, entropion/ectropion repair, squint surgeries, and pediatric procedures.
- Interpret advanced diagnostics (OCT, B-scan, pediatric vision tests, orthoptic workups).
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, counselling, and follow-up management.
- Collaborate closely with optometrists and orthoptists for pediatric refraction and squint assessments.
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation as per NABH standards.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, prognosis, and preventive eye care.
- Contribute to departmental case discussions, clinical audits, and quality initiatives.
