What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform surgical procedures on the heart, lungs, esophagus, and major thoracic vessels.
- Diagnose and manage complex cardiothoracic conditions, including congenital and acquired diseases.
- Develop individualized preoperative and postoperative care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, pulmonologists, and critical care teams.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including surgical planning and case reviews.
- Monitor patient recovery, manage complications, and ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
- Mentor, train, and supervise junior surgeons, residents, and surgical fellows.
