About the Role: Join Dr N Y Tasgaonkar Institute of Medical Science (NYTIMS) as a Sr. Resident-Opthalmology in Karjat, Maharashtra.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide clinical care in OPD, IPD, and emergency ophthalmology services.
- Assist in and perform ophthalmic surgeries under supervision.
- Conduct preoperative and postoperative patient evaluations.
- Manage routine & complex ophthalmic cases (medical & surgical).
- Supervise junior residents, interns, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participate in academic sessions, clinical meetings, and CME programs.
- Support research activities and audits in the ophthalmology department.
- Counsel patients on eye care, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, NABH, and ethical standards.
