About the Role:
Join Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services as a Surgical Oncologist and play a crucial role in patient care.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with solid organ cancers.
- Plan and perform curative, palliative and reconstructive cancer surgeries.
- Conduct pre-operative assessment, tumor staging and surgical planning.
- Provide post-operative care including wound management, pain control and complication management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings to form treatment strategies.
- Coordinate with Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Pathologists and Radiologists.
- Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, risks and prognosis.
- Monitor patients during follow-up for recurrence and long-term outcomes.
