About the Role: As an Emergency Care Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate assessment and treatment to patients with acute illnesses or injuries.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients with acute illnesses or injuries. - Stabilize critically ill or injured patients and initiate life-saving interventions. - Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, suturing, resuscitation, and chest tube insertion. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, X-rays, CT scans, and ECGs. - Coordinate care with specialists, surgeons, and hospital departments for admissions or referrals. - Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed in the emergency setting. - Maintain accurate and timely medical records, triage notes, and incident reports. - Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines. - Educate patients and families on emergency care procedures, follow-up, and preventive measures.
