About the Role: As a Gastrointestinal Surgeon at Padmini Care Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system, including the stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and biliary tract. - Perform GI surgical procedures such as laparoscopic surgeries, endoscopic interventions, and complex abdominal operations. - Conduct patient evaluations through physical exams, medical history review, and diagnostic tests. - Develop personalized treatment and surgical plans based on patient condition. - Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams for integrated care. - Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient management, ensuring safe recovery. - Interpret imaging studies, lab results, and endoscopic findings to support diagnosis. - Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, risks, and follow-up care. - Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards.
