About the Role: The Deputy Director will play a crucial role in advancing clinical research at the Centre for Brain Research, contributing to the understanding and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assisting the Director in day-to-day operations and governance. - Engaging with consortia members and stakeholders. - Designing and implementing new research activities. - Overseeing the development of the centre's scientific vision. - Mentoring faculty and managing large research projects. - Ensuring the maintenance and operation of core facilities. - Collaborating with the Academic Committee to support the Ph.D. program.
Our Ideal Candidate Has: - PhD in Science/Eng/MD/DM with a strong academic record. - Minimum 5 years of research experience at a Professor level or equivalent. - Expertise in neuroscience, clinical, genetic, and/or epidemiological research. - Demonstrable leadership and strategic planning experience. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
