About the Role: As a Consultant Pulmonologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with respiratory conditions, ensuring high-quality care and support.
What You'll Be Doing: - Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns. - Diagnosing and treating conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema. - Using and interpreting pulmonological exams and tests to aid in diagnosis. - Performing specialized procedures to acquire samples for analysis. - Providing immunizations against preventable cardiopulmonary diseases. - Maintaining detailed notes of patient appointments and treatments. - Referring patients to cardiothoracic surgeons when necessary. - Advising on risk status and recommending interventions for high-risk patients. - Supporting patients receiving long-term care, including ICU management.
