About the Role: As a Nephrologist at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with kidney-related issues.
What You'll Be Doing: - Attend to all nephrology patients. - Provide consultations for nephrology referrals from other specialties. - Supervise all dialysis procedures. - Attend all OPD patients for nephrology consultation. - Educate and train medical officers, dialysis technicians, and nurses in the nephrology department. - Plan for future expansion of the department. - Organize patient education activities. - Conduct rounds in IPD & ICU with resident doctors and nursing staff, monitoring admitted patients. - Advise resident doctors on medication management and additional treatments. - Monitor patient progress and advise on discharge processes. - Manage OPD patients and recommend investigations as needed.
