About the Role: As an Anesthesia Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality anesthesia services to patients in various settings.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide timely consultation services to all patients in the outpatient setting. - Administer anesthesia services in the operating theatre and day surgery units. - Respond to requests for inpatient consultations. - Lead and participate in ward rounds, ensuring specialist care for inpatients. - Explain procedures and operations to patients to ensure informed consent. - Maintain accurate medical records of treatment for patient benefit. - Ensure all patients have a planned discharge with comprehensive discharge summaries. - Collaborate with other medical and non-medical staff to ensure quality treatment. - Participate in relevant multi-disciplinary meetings. - Provide clinical leadership to junior medical colleagues.
