About the Role: As a Consultant Microbiologist, you will play a crucial role in supervising and reporting routine culture reports, ensuring the highest standards of infection control within the hospital.
What You'll Be Doing: - Supervising and reporting all routine culture reports at the lab. - Managing hospital-acquired infections and formulating SOPs for infection control. - Collaborating with the infection control team to implement protocols. - Interacting daily with clinicians regarding reports and antibiotic usage. - Formulating and implementing the antibiotic policy for the hospital. - Conducting CMEs and academic programs. - Reporting COVID-19 cases and ensuring the smooth functioning of the COVID lab.
