About the Role: As an Internal Medicine Registrar, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring clinical safety protocols are followed.
What You'll Be Doing: - Adapt a professional approach with all patients, staff, and visitors. - Be aware of total patients admitted under your specialty. - Follow clinical safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols. - Complete relatives' signatures and plans of care during admissions. - Supervise daily clinical management of patients with nurse team leaders. - Attend to new patients and ensure complete documentation. - Inform consultants about new admissions and coordinate treatment. - Report any changes in clinical status to the consultant. - Prepare treatment sheets with diagnoses in capital letters. - Enter all online orders on HIS. - Assist consultants during rounds. - Regularly attend to post-operative patients and write orders. - Fill out consent forms and blood request forms. - Conduct rounds to check on admitted patients. - Maintain a copy of the Nurse Hand over sheet for patient updates. - Provide medical cover during duty hours. - Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives.
