About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Nuclear Medicine, you will play a crucial role in patient care by preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring patient comfort during imaging procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals orally, by injection, or inhalation. - Explaining imaging procedures to patients and addressing their questions. - Operating imaging equipment, including PET and SPECT scans. - Processing images of various organs on the computer. - Monitoring patients for unusual reactions to radioactive drugs. - Keeping detailed records of radiopharmaceutical usage and procedures.
