Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Gynaecologist at St Joseph's Mission Hospital, you will play a crucial role in women's health, providing comprehensive care and support throughout their reproductive lives.
How You'll Contribute: - Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast exams. - Evaluate patients' medical histories and symptoms to diagnose gynecological conditions. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ultrasounds, blood tests, and imaging studies. - Perform and interpret colposcopies and other specialized tests as needed. - Develop and implement treatment plans for gynecological conditions, including medical management and surgical interventions. - Perform various gynecological surgeries, including hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and other minimally invasive surgeries. - Address complications related to reproductive organs and structures. - Provide prenatal care, monitor pregnancies, and oversee deliveries. - Manage high-risk pregnancies and address obstetric complications. - Counsel patients on family planning options and contraceptive methods. - Perform contraceptive procedures, such as intrauterine device (IUD) insertions.
