About the Role: As a Sr. Consultant/Consultant in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality surgical care to patients. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance the surgical services offered by our hospital.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough consultations with patients requiring surgical interventions. - Assess medical history, perform examinations, and recommend appropriate surgical treatments. - Perform a variety of general surgical procedures, including abdominal surgeries, hernia repairs, and appendectomies. - Provide comprehensive preoperative assessments and preparations for surgical patients. - Oversee postoperative care, monitoring patients' recovery and adjusting treatment plans as needed. - Collaborate with diagnostic specialists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret diagnostic tests. - Work closely with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists to provide well-coordinated patient care. - Educate patients about surgical procedures, potential risks, and postoperative care. - Respond to emergency surgical cases and trauma situations as needed.
