About the Role: As a Junior Consultant in Medical Oncology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cancer patients, contributing to their care and recovery.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and stage various types of cancer in patients. - Develop individualized and evidence-based treatment plans. - Administer chemotherapy drugs and manage associated side effects. - Monitor patients during and after chemotherapy sessions. - Prescribe and manage immunotherapeutic agents and targeted therapies. - Educate patients on the mechanisms of action and potential side effects. - Collaborate with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists. - Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary meetings.
