Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Pediatric Intensivist at KMC Hospital, you will provide specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients in the ICU, ensuring their health and well-being through expert medical assessments and treatment plans.
How You'll Contribute: - Provide specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients in the ICU. - Perform thorough medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. - Oversee and coordinate the medical care of patients, including monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in condition. - Manage mechanical ventilation and provide respiratory support. - Monitor and adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs. - Evaluate and interpret diagnostic data related to respiratory function. - Monitor and interpret hemodynamic parameters and administer vasoactive medications as necessary. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and respiratory therapists. - Communicate effectively with patients' families and provide updates on patient status. - Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and critical care meetings. - Perform and supervise invasive procedures as needed.
