About the Role: As a Consultant Pediatrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of children through comprehensive care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct routine well-child check-ups, including physical examinations, developmental assessments, and immunizations. - Monitor growth and development, addressing any concerns with parents or guardians. - Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric illnesses and conditions, both acute and chronic. - Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in collaboration with parents or guardians. - Provide guidance on preventive healthcare measures, including nutrition, safety, and lifestyle recommendations. - Conduct screenings for developmental delays, hearing, and vision problems. - Administer and oversee the schedule of childhood vaccinations. - Educate parents on the importance of immunizations and address any concerns. - Offer counseling and guidance to parents on various aspects of child health, behavior, and development. - Address parental concerns and provide support for parenting challenges.
