About the Role: As a Transplant Surgeon, you will play a critical role in evaluating and performing transplant surgeries, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough evaluations of potential transplant candidates. - Assess patient medical history, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests. - Perform transplant surgeries, including organ harvesting from deceased or living donors and transplanting organs into recipients. - Utilize advanced surgical techniques to ensure optimal outcomes. - Monitor and manage post-transplant patients in collaboration with the transplant team. - Address complications and provide ongoing care to ensure graft function and patient well-being. - Collaborate with nephrologists, hepatologists, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the transplant process. - Participate in transplant team meetings and discussions. - Participate in the evaluation and management of living and deceased organ donors. - Coordinate with the organ procurement team for deceased donor organs.
