About the Role: As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests. - Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries, prescribing medications and providing follow-up care. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines. - Perform minor surgical procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician. - Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion and disease prevention. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and facilitate transitions between healthcare settings. - Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR). - Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives.
