About the Role: As an Orthopedic Surgeon at Axis Hospital, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal disorders, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal disorders, injuries, and diseases through history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic imaging studies. - Formulate accurate diagnoses based on clinical assessments, imaging findings, and laboratory tests. - Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' specific conditions, incorporating conservative management strategies, physical therapy, medications, and surgical interventions as appropriate. - Perform orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacement procedures, fracture fixation, arthroscopic surgeries, soft tissue repairs, and spine surgeries. - Provide pre-operative counseling to patients, explaining surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes in clear and understandable terms. - Coordinate perioperative care with anesthesia providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective surgical interventions. - Monitor patients' post-operative recovery and manage complications, collaborating with rehabilitation specialists and other healthcare team members to optimize outcomes. - Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
