About the Role: As an OT Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive patient care and support during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations. - Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions. - Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. - Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and perform minor procedures as appropriate. - Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options. - Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care as needed. - Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient charts and treatment plans.
