About the Role: As a General Medicine Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients, ensuring their health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments of patients, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests. - Formulate accurate diagnoses based on clinical findings, diagnostic test results, and evidence-based guidelines. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating a combination of medications, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures. - Manage chronic medical conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and arthritis, through regular monitoring, medication management, and patient education. - Provide acute medical care for common illnesses and injuries, including infections, respiratory conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, and gastrointestinal disorders. - Perform minor medical procedures, such as wound care, suturing, incision and drainage, and joint injections, as needed. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms (ECGs), to assist in the diagnosis and management of medical conditions. - Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, medication adherence, and preventive measures to promote self-management and improve health outcomes.
