Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Senior Resident in Pulmonary Medicine, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and managing patients with respiratory disorders.
How You'll Contribute: - Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with respiratory disorders, including taking detailed histories and conducting physical examinations. - Diagnose and manage a variety of pulmonary conditions, such as asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary infections, and sleep disorders. - Assist in and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and pulmonary function tests. - Interpret results from imaging studies (e.g., chest X-rays, CT scans) and pulmonary function tests. - Participate in daily clinical rounds, presenting patient cases and contributing to treatment discussions. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. - Teach and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students in pulmonary medicine. - Conduct and participate in educational sessions, including lectures, seminars, and case presentations.
