About the Role: As an Associate Consultant in Neuro Anesthesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing neurological surgeries.
What You'll Be Doing: - Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patients' vital signs during neurological surgeries and procedures. - Conduct preoperative assessments to evaluate patients' medical histories, anesthesia risks, and suitability for surgery. - Manage anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence phases, adjusting anesthesia levels as needed during surgery. - Monitor patients' physiological responses, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, using advanced monitoring equipment. - Respond to anesthesia emergencies and manage anesthesia-related complications promptly and effectively. - Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons, surgical teams, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. - Provide post-anesthesia care, monitor patients' recovery from anesthesia, and manage pain relief medications as necessary. - Maintain accurate anesthesia records, including preoperative assessments, intraoperative events, and post-anesthesia care notes.
