About the Role: As a Consultant in Critical Care, you will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in intensive care units (ICUs), ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in ICUs, including monitoring vital signs and managing life support systems. - Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, including respiratory failure and cardiac arrest. - Respond to medical emergencies within the ICU using advanced resuscitation techniques. - Coordinate care with specialists across various medical disciplines to develop and implement patient treatment plans. - Provide leadership and guidance to ICU medical staff and residents. - Mentor and educate medical residents and healthcare professionals on critical care principles. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits. - Advocate for patient rights and informed decision-making in collaboration with families.
