About the Role: As a Senior Consultant-Oncologist, you will provide specialized clinical care to patients with cancer, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide specialized clinical care to patients with cancer, including solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and rare cancers. - Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines and patient preferences. - Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other systemic treatments for cancer, ensuring optimal therapeutic efficacy and management of treatment-related side effects. - Monitor treatment response, adjust treatment regimens, and collaborate with medical oncologists, hematologists, and other specialists to optimize cancer care. - Collaborate with radiation oncologists to develop and implement combined modality treatment plans, including chemotherapy-radiotherapy combinations and sequential treatment approaches. - Coordinate multidisciplinary tumor boards, participate in treatment planning discussions, and ensure seamless integration of radiation therapy with systemic therapy. - Participate in clinical trials and research studies aimed at advancing cancer treatment modalities, identifying novel therapeutic targets, and improving patient outcomes. - Enroll eligible patients in clinical trials, provide informed consent, and oversee protocol compliance and data collection in accordance with regulatory requirements.
