Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with various ophthalmic conditions, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
How You'll Contribute: - Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with ophthalmic conditions, including refractive errors, cataracts, glaucoma, retinal diseases, corneal disorders, and ocular trauma. - Conduct thorough eye examinations, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret imaging studies to diagnose and treat ophthalmic conditions. - Perform a wide range of ophthalmic surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, refractive surgery, glaucoma surgery, vitreoretinal surgery, corneal transplantation, and oculoplastic surgery. - Utilize advanced surgical techniques, microsurgical instruments, and intraoperative imaging modalities to achieve optimal surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction. - Perform intravitreal injections, laser photocoagulation, and other medical retina procedures for the management of retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and retinal vascular disorders. - Utilize state-of-the-art retinal imaging technologies, including optical coherence tomography (OCT) and fluorescein angiography, for diagnosis and monitoring of retinal conditions. - Provide clinical leadership and supervision to ophthalmologists, residents, fellows, nurses, and support staff in the ophthalmology department. - Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement through mentorship, education, and quality assurance activities.
