About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Medical Oncology, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients diagnosed with cancer, playing a crucial role in their treatment journey.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide comprehensive medical care to patients diagnosed with cancer, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of treatment-related side effects. - Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as imaging studies, biopsies, and laboratory results. - Participate in the education and training of medical students, interns, junior residents, and allied health professionals. - Facilitate bedside teaching rounds, case-based discussions, journal clubs, and didactic lectures. - Engage in scholarly activities, including clinical research and quality improvement projects. - Design and conduct research studies in collaboration with faculty mentors and research teams. - Demonstrate leadership qualities, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all aspects of clinical practice. - Serve as a liaison between the medical oncology team and other healthcare providers.
