About the Role: As a Senior Consultant Neurologist, you will provide specialized clinical care to patients with neurological disorders, making a significant impact on their health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide specialized clinical care to patients with neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, and neuromuscular diseases. - Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines and patient needs. - Oversee and interpret neurodiagnostic studies, including electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies, and evoked potentials. - Utilize advanced imaging modalities such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and positron emission tomography (PET) for neuroimaging and functional assessment. - Lead stroke care initiatives, including acute stroke management, thrombolytic therapy, and neurocritical care for stroke patients. - Implement telemedicine programs for stroke assessment, remote consultation, and coordination of acute stroke interventions with regional stroke centers. - Provide clinical leadership and supervision to neurologists, residents, fellows, nurses, and support staff in the neurology department. - Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement through mentorship, education, and quality assurance activities.
