About the Role: As a Registrar in Neonatology, you will play a crucial role in the care and management of neonates, ensuring their health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct comprehensive assessments of neonates and develop individualized care plans. - Perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilization in the delivery room and NICU. - Manage and monitor the ongoing care of neonates, including ventilation, nutrition, and medication administration. - Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, such as blood tests, X-rays, and ultrasounds. - Implement evidence-based practices and guidelines in the management of neonatal conditions. - Respond to neonatal emergencies promptly and efficiently. - Perform emergency procedures, such as intubation, umbilical catheterization, and chest tube insertion. - Stabilize critically ill neonates and coordinate transfer to higher-level care if necessary. - Communicate effectively with parents and families, providing updates on the neonate's condition and care plans.
