Make a Difference in Patient Care: As an Associate Consultant in Emergency & Trauma, you will play a crucial role in providing timely assessment and treatment to patients in critical conditions.
How You'll Contribute: - Provide timely assessment, resuscitation, and treatment of patients in the emergency department. - Manage a wide range of medical emergencies and traumatic injuries with proficiency and efficiency. - Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and clinical interventions. - Lead and participate in trauma resuscitation efforts, including advanced airway management, hemorrhage control, and initial surgical interventions. - Implement trauma protocols and guidelines to optimize patient outcomes. - Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies to facilitate prompt diagnosis and treatment decisions. - Utilize point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and other diagnostic tools effectively in the emergency setting. - Perform emergent procedures, including but not limited to intubation, central line placement, chest tube insertion, and emergency surgical procedures. - Administer procedural sedation and manage procedural complications as needed.
