About the Role: As a Consultant Diabetologist, you will play a crucial role in managing and treating patients with diabetes, ensuring optimal health outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments of patients with diabetes mellitus, including type 1, type 2, gestational diabetes, and complications. - Perform comprehensive diabetic screenings to monitor disease progression and complications. - Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacological therapies, dietary modifications, and self-monitoring techniques. - Manage acute and chronic diabetes complications, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. - Educate patients and families on diabetes management strategies and self-care behaviors. - Address patient questions and emotional needs related to diabetes diagnosis and treatment.
