About the Role: As a Consultant Orthopedics, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal conditions, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests. - Develop personalized treatment plans based on diagnoses, which may include surgical interventions, medications, physical therapy, or other non-surgical methods. - Perform orthopedic surgeries, such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, arthroscopic procedures, spinal surgeries, and corrective surgeries for congenital conditions. - Monitor patients' progress following surgery, manage pain relief, and provide rehabilitation support to facilitate recovery. - Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and primary care physicians. - Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions, treatment options, surgical procedures, and postoperative care. - Participate in orthopedic research, clinical trials, and continuing medical education to advance knowledge and improve patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, surgical notes, and progress reports.
