About the Role: As a Resident Medical Oncologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for patients with cancer.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with cancer, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy. - Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments, monitor treatment responses, and manage treatment-related side effects. - Coordinate care with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated cancer care. - Educate patients and their families about treatment options, prognosis, and supportive care measures. - Participate in clinical trials and research projects to advance oncology knowledge and improve treatment outcomes. - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, treatment plans, and progress notes. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in oncology through continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities.
