About the Role: As a Resident Gastroenterologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, impacting patient care significantly.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assessing patients' medical histories, symptoms, and physical conditions related to gastrointestinal disorders. - Performing and interpreting diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, biopsy, and imaging studies to diagnose GI conditions. - Developing and implementing treatment plans based on diagnosis, including medication management and lifestyle modifications. - Providing ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with chronic GI conditions. - Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management. - Educating patients and their families about gastrointestinal diseases and treatment options. - Participating in clinical research and contributing to medical literature.
